FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I enter the course without experience (without a card, course, etc.)?

No, independent access to the course without an HCP card is not allowed. The exception is playing under the supervision of someone who has a valid HCP card. To use the course safely and responsibly, we recommend completing the HCP course.

2. What are the steps to start playing?
  • Complete the HCP course (theory + practice: basics, rules, etiquette, safety).

  • Pass the final exam.

  • Receive the HCP card issued by the Polish Golf Association (PZG).

  • Activate your card. The first season is covered by the club; future seasons require payment and reactivation via PZG.

Once these steps are completed, you can book tee times and play on your own.

3. Course Access Rules: Green Fee vs. Right to Play

You need an active HCP card and must choose one of two access options:

  1. Green Fee – one-time payment for a day’s play; for occasional players.

  2. Right to Play – a subscription for regular access (monthly/seasonal); more cost-effective for regular players.

In both cases, course etiquette and safety rules apply equally.

4. What is the HCP Card?
  • An official confirmation of a golfer’s skill level.

  • Required for independent play on most courses in Poland and abroad.

  • Allows fair competition and tournament participation.

Benefits of an HCP Card:

  • Access to domestic and international golf courses

  • Tournament participation

  • Official score recording in the PZG system

  • Progress tracking

How to get an HCP Card:

  1. Complete the HCP course and pass the exam.

  2. Contact the club reception; they will send your details to PZG.

  3. Your card will be activated for the current season.

Renewing the HCP Card: Annual renewal via PZG + club membership fee.
