WROCŁAW GOLF CLUB – RULES AND REGULATIONS
GENERAL PROVISIONS
Entering the golf course area and using its facilities implies acceptance of these rules and an obligation to comply with them.
Only holders of “Playing Rights” or a valid green fee are permitted to use the golf course.
Playing Rights holders must display their bag tag clearly on their golf bag.
All visitors and players must follow the instructions of Wrocław Golf Club staff.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in removal from the course and/or a financial penalty.
Everyone on the golf course must follow basic safety rules and use common sense.
a. Be cautious near water hazards.
b. Stay on designated paths.Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Dogs and walking on the course are only permitted with prior approval from reception, under the following conditions:
a. Dogs must be leashed and owners must clean up after them, including any damage.
b. The dog must not disturb players or staff.
c. Dogs are not allowed on the green, tees, or in bunkers.Players with a handicap card (HCP) may bring guests onto the course, but must inform reception and ensure that guests understand and follow course rules, especially safety guidelines.
Wrocław Golf Club Sp. z o.o. is not responsible for damages resulting from non-compliance with the rules.
The Club is not liable for any personal or property damage caused by negligence or misconduct of other players or visitors.
The Club is not responsible for any lost or unattended personal belongings.
Playing Rights holders have priority when booking tee times, especially on weekends. Club member tee times must be booked by the preceding Wednesday.
The Club may close the course or driving range due to weather or other conditions, at staff discretion.
The course is governed by the R&A Rules of Golf, Wrocław Golf Club local rules, and golf etiquette.
Only certified instructors affiliated with Wrocław Golf Club may provide lessons or golf instruction.
All players must report any observed violations or irregularities to the staff.
GOLF COURSE USAGE RULES
Only players with a minimum of a “PZG Green Card” may play on the golf course.
Those without a Green Card may use the driving range only.
Proper golf attire is required on the course.
Tee times must be booked at least 6 hours in advance. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled tee time.
Players must report to reception at least 20 minutes prior to their tee time.
Tee time reservations will be forfeited without refund if a player fails to check in.
Players must be at the 1st tee at least 5 minutes before their scheduled start.
Players who miss three tee times without prior cancellation will lose booking privileges for 30 days.
Refunds are not provided for weather-related cancellations unless there is a thunderstorm or course flooding, in which case players may reschedule.
A maximum of 4 players is allowed per group.
Each player must have their own golf bag and a pitch mark repair tool; staff may request to see it during play.
Players without a valid green fee will be removed from the course.
An 18-hole round should not exceed 4 hours and 55 minutes.
Play must start from hole 1, unless otherwise authorized by reception.
Safety of other players and course staff must be prioritized at all times.
Do not hit if players ahead have not cleared a safe distance.
Shout “FORE!” if your ball is heading toward another person.
Slow play is discouraged. Slower groups must allow faster groups to play through. If searching for a ball takes longer than 3 minutes, allow following groups to pass.
Players who cause slow play may be asked to skip a hole or leave the course.
After finishing a hole, leave the green immediately.
Players must repair all divots, pitch marks, and rake bunkers. Failure to do so may result in a fine of 250 PLN.
POWERED GOLF CARTS
a. Use only paved paths, or if unavailable, the shortest route along the fairway toward the green.
b. It is prohibited to drive into deep rough, puddles, bunkers, tees, within 20 meters of the green, on greens, or between greens and bunkers (fine: 1,000 PLN).
c. Only adults may operate powered carts.
d. Carts must be returned within 15 minutes after the round.
e. Carts are limited to two occupants.
f. Users are responsible for any damage caused to the cart or the course.
PROHIBITED BEHAVIOR
The following is strictly prohibited (with applicable fines):
Littering or discarding cigarette butts on the grass – 100 PLN
Retrieving balls from water hazards or swimming – 100 PLN
Using range balls on the course – 500 PLN
Playing without a valid green fee – 500 PLN
Hitting more than 2 balls per player on weekdays
Hitting more than 1 ball per player on weekends
Playing in restricted or closed course areas – 1,000 PLN
Driving carts under the influence of alcohol
Disruptive behavior (e.g., loud noises, offensive language, unsportsmanlike conduct)
Players who fail to rake bunkers, fix divots or pitch marks, or violate etiquette may be removed from the course without a refund.
PRACTICE AREA RULES (DRIVING RANGE & SHORT GAME)
Prohibited (with fines):
a. Entering the ball collection area or retrieving used range balls – 250 PLN
b. Hitting from unauthorized areas (off mats or designated lines) – 250 PLN
c. Removing balls from the range – 500 PLN
d. Hitting to short game greens from the driving range
e. Using a closed driving range – 500 PLN
Players must:
Return baskets to the ball machine area
Collect broken tees
Rake bunkers
Repair pitch marks and divots after practice (fine: 100 PLN)
VISITORS AND OBSERVERS
Visitors are not allowed on the golf course without prior consent and supervision of Wrocław Golf Club staff or a club member.
Every person on the golf course is obligated to familiarize themselves with and follow these Rules and Regulations.
